ORGANOGRAM AND EXECUTIVE SEARCH: ENERGY PRACTICE

Our client is an international management consulting firm with a presence in 24 countries. The Head of their US Talent Acquisition team and the Global Managing Partner (Energy practice) commissioned Research Partners to carry out a targeted mapping exercise into one of their main competitors in the oil & gas space. We were asked to identify candidates in their oil & gas practice from partner level down to associate level.

We used desk research and gathered information by speaking with individuals to map out their energy practice. By building out a detailed Organogram, our client was able to gain valuable insight, which allowed them to identify high-interest candidates. In a further step, our client asked us to approach and qualify these key individuals for suitability and interest. We shortlisted 3 candidates, which resulted in 1 director level hire.

THE BENEFIT OF A STEP-BY-STEP SERVICE

Clients who choose competitive mapping exercises have the intelligence they need to move ahead in the market. With this new information, our client was able to understand the size and structure of the target firm and its energy practice as a whole. They were able to consequently make decisive and strategic steps within the company.
